How we are building toward recognised security standards, and why we chose Finland as a responsible home for compute.

Our certification journey

Information security is central to everything we do. ISO/IEC 27001 is the most widely recognised standard for information-security management systems. It provides a framework for establishing, maintaining and continually improving how an organisation manages risk and protects data.

We are currently implementing ISO 27001. This means identifying assets and risks, developing policies and controls, and building a security-first culture across the company. Once certified, clients and partners can be confident that Lumilogic follows best practices for confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Finland, a responsible home for compute

Finland runs on one of the cleanest and most reliable grids in Europe, which is part of why we built here.

A grid powered by renewables

In 2024, emissions from Finnish electricity generation fell by around a quarter, with clean sources such as nuclear, wind, hydro and bioenergy making up roughly 95 percent of power produced. Wind passed hydro for the first time. Fossil fuels contributed only a few percent, mostly during cold snaps.

Among the most reliable grids measured

Finland’s transmission grid recorded its highest reliability ever in recent years, with disturbances rare and unserved energy minimal. That kind of stability matters for data center continuity.

Clean, affordable, ready capacity

Finland has had among the lowest electricity prices in the EU, and major grid investment is adding capacity for energy-intensive infrastructure. Clean, affordable and reliable power is a good foundation for high-density compute.

Our approach

Heat that does not go to waste

Compute generates heat. Most of the industry treats that as a problem to vent away. We are designing the facility so the waste heat can be recovered and put to use, with the aim of connecting it to the Riihimäki district heating network as we scale. Heat that would otherwise be lost can instead help warm homes and buildings nearby.

Combined with free cooling from the Nordic climate and Finland’s clean grid, the goal is simple: run demanding compute with as little waste as we can manage, and turn a by-product into something useful for the people around us.
