Building a sustainable and secure future

Our commitment to security and responsibility

At Lumilogic, we build more than high‑performance data centres – we cultivate trust. Our operations are anchored in rigorous information‑security standards and a deep respect for the environment. This page outlines how we’re progressing towards internationally recognised certifications and why we chose Finland as our sustainable home.

Eco conscious

Our certification journey

Information security is central to everything we do. ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s most widely recognised standard for information‑security management systems (ISMS). It provides a framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an ISMS that manages risks and protects data.

We are currently in the initial phase of our ISO 27001 implementation. This involves identifying assets and risks, developing policies and controls, and instilling a security‑first culture across the company. Once certified, our clients and partners can be confident that Lumilogic follows best practices for confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Finland – a sustainable home for data centres

A Grid Powered by Renewables

In 2024 Finland achieved a clean energy milestone: emissions from electricity generation dropped by 25%, and clean sources such as nuclear, wind, hydro and bioenergy accounted for around 95% of all power produced. Wind surpassed hydro for the first time, producing approximately 24–25% of national electricity, while hydro delivered around 17–18%. Fossil fuels contributed just 2–3% and mostly during cold snaps.

Industry-Leading Reliability

According to Fingrid, Finland’s national transmission operator, 2023 recorded the highest grid reliability ever measured: 99.99995% uptime, with minimal unserved energy and rare disturbances. This exceptional performance is crucial for data centre continuity and uptime guarantees.

Clean, Affordable, and Ready Capacity
Finland’s grid is among Europe’s cleanest. Wind power represents over 40% and hydropower nearly 20% of capacity.  In early 2024, Finland had the lowest electricity prices in the EU, making it one of the most attractive locations for energy-intensive infrastructure . Fingrid’s €4 billion investment plan will add over 130 substations and 6,000 km of high-voltage lines that will ensure strong grid capacity and supporting future growth.
Why It Matters for You
  • Exceptional uptime: One of the world’s most reliable electricity grids, with nearly zero system disturbances
  • Scalable capacity: National grid is expanding to support high-demand industrial and data centre developments
  • Clean energy foundation: Vast majority of electricity comes from renewable or low-emission sources
  • Competitive pricing: Operating in Finland means lower energy costs for intensive compute workloads

Finland’s combination of reliable, renewable and affordable power makes it an ideal home for responsible, high‑density data centre operations such as ours.
